I’ve never lived with a Pit Bull, but I know people who have, as well as Rotties, Dobes, etc. and they will tell you, as will I: Bull Terriers are just something else. BTs are intelligent, strong-willed, independent thinkers who want to please THEMSELVES and they want YOU to please them, too. They take a lot of time and patience and understanding. Bringing a Bull Terrier into your life is nothing short of adopting a three-year-old child.

A friend of mine says when she gets asked how much her BT cost, her response is: “My sanity.”
